Crescent Bay, WA, Washington 05-16-07 04:00 PM ( about 7 hours )

We started the day around noon leaving from Lake Union. We went through the locks quickly, and started our 120mi run to Neah Bay. The water was smooth until we reached near Port Angeles. After having to slow down to 10knots in Jim's 33' pursuit, we believed we couldn't not make it by sunset. We looked on our map and found Crescent Bay, where we anchored up for the night.

Area 3 - LaPush , Washington 05-17-07 10:00 AM ( about 3 hours )

We started the next morning at crack of dawn, went around Neah Bay, and down to our fishing hole. We were late to the party and started around 10 AM. The fishing was disappointing, with our largest halibut coming in at 30lb or so. We released a bunch before settling in and keeping our limits of halibut and lingcod.

Area 3 - LaPush , Washington 05-19-07 07:00 AM ( about 1 hour )

What a difference a day makes - Saturday morning was blowing. We made it slowly down to the LaPush hole and saw a few boats, including a 34' grady turn back. It was rough as we backed in to slow our drift. Anyhow, we got our limits as quickly as possible, and headed back.
