South Mississippi's Barrier Islands - Redfish & Black Drum

Barrier Islands South of Biloxi, Mississippi, Mississippi 02-18-10 06:00 AM ( about 2 hours )

Hello everyone:

Just a quick note. Been fishing the barrier islands when the weather permits, and as you can see from the pictures big redfish and huge black drum have been prowling the crystal-clear shallows.

Been bringing in plenty for the dinner table and releasing a good number of the really big specimens. Casting into big schools of these fish in 2-feet of water is exciting, and on 10-pound-test spinning gear, well, it makes it that much more fun.

In just a couple of more weeks all sorts of fish will be moving back into the bays and Mississippi Sound, and it will be back to non stop light tackle fishing action once again aboard TEAM BRODIE CHARTERS.

Regards and many thanks to all,
