ORCHARD PARK , N.Y. (AP) — Hall to wide receivers coach and hired Ken Dorsey as quarterbacks coach.Hall is a former NFL receiver who spent the past two seasons as an offensive assistant on Bills coach Sean McDermott’s staff. He replaces Terry Robiskie, who was fired last month after one season in Buffalo.Dorsey spent last year as an assistant athletic director at Florida International. He spent the previous seven seasons with the Panthers Ryquell Armstead Jersey , including five as Carolina’s quarterbacks coach.It was in Carolina where Dorsey worked on the same staff as McDermott, who was the Panthers’ defensive coordinator.Dorsey is a former NFL quarterback and played a role in grooming Cam Newton in Carolina. In Buffalo , he will be responsible for helping continue developing Josh Allen, who had a 5-6 record as a rookie starter.Dorsey replaces David Culley Christian Wilkins Jersey , who was hired by the Baltimore Ravens last week to become their assistant head coach, receivers assistant and passing game coordinator. The Bengals are working to fill out head coach Zac Taylor’s first staff in Cincinnati and they’ve reportedly received permission to interview a candidate for one of the biggest open roles.Vincent Bonsignore of reports that the Rams have granted the Bengals permission to interview cornerbacks coach Aubrey Pleasant for their defensive coordinator vacancy. Taylor was the Rams’ quarterbacks coach before officially taking the job in Cincinnati this week.Pleasant has been with the Rams the last two years and was on the Washington staff with head coach Sean McVay from 2013 to 2016. He was an offensive assistant in the first of those seasons and moved to the defensive side of the ball for the final three.The Bengals spoke to Jack Del Rio and Dom Capers , but it does not appear things will move forward with either one. Several other names have been bandied about, but the Rams connection may make Pleasant a leading contender for the job.
