We’ve mostly locked in the seminar schedule for the show next weekend… Here they are…

Members of other chapters are welcome to attend. We have added a beer garden this year. For the kids there is an archery range in addition to the trout pond (not combined :-) ).

We do have some volunteer slots open to all chapters as well. We could use some help Saturday and Sunday. If you can’t see the volunteer post, feel free to email me at fish_kid@frontier.com and I can give you specifics. Thank you!

Friday April 20th – 1:00 pm
Fishing Lake Chelan with Tom Drews
Come join PSA member Tom Drews and learn how to add some fishing time to your summer visit to the warm, sunny side of the state. Lake Chelan has some excellent fishing opportunity that you don’t have to be up too early for, and the kids can enjoy as well. Tom will focus on lake trout methods and locations.

Friday April 20th – 5:30 pm
Kokanee Fishing Basics with Brianna Bruce
Come join professional guide Brianna Bruce and learn about local kokanee fishing action. This is an outstanding fishery that is family friendly and doesn’t take all the gear of a fully rigged fishing boat to be successful. Come learn tactics that will work on local lakes like Lake Stevens and other kokanee lakes throughout Washington.

Saturday April 21st – 11:00 am
Buoy 10 with Aaron Peterson
Come join Aaron Peterson of Peterson’s Northwest Guide to learn about one of Washington’s and Oregon’s best fisheries. He will guide you through charts, tides, rods and reels in this informative seminar. Aaron will also share some of his tips he uses for these chinook and hard fighting coho.

Halibut fisherman and retired halibut biologist Steve Kaimmer joins us to share his videos on how halibut strike baits. Steve adds his professional experience to the videos, taken while he worked for the IPHC, along with rigging tips to help you become a better halibut angler.

Back Country Horseback with Todd Churchill
Come join Todd Churchill from the Traildusters Chapter of the Back Country Horsemen of Washington to learn how to pack with pack animals in the back country. Learn basic gear you need to start choosing animals. Learn how to leave no trace while riding so we can continue to enjoy riding in Washington for generations to come. Learn about what BCHW is doing for the community.
